Privacy Policy

Your account

If you create an account, I store your name, email address, the pillars you choose (Wealth, Wheels, Wanderlust) and, if you sign in with Google, your Google profile name and picture. Passwords are never visible to me; they're stored in hashed form by the authentication provider, Supabase. I use this information only to run your account and personalise your dashboard.

Usage analytics

To understand what's useful and improve the site, I record how it's used: pages you visit, how long you actively spend on them, which tools you use, and clicks on outbound, affiliate and referral links, along with your device type and a random identifier stored in your browser. If you're signed in, this is linked to your account. I don't record the numbers you type into calculators. Analytics only start after you accept the notice shown on your first visit.

Disclaimer acceptance

When you accept the disclaimer (by ticking the box when you create an account, or through the pop-up), I keep a record of that acceptance: the time, the disclaimer version, your account and email address if you have one, the random browser identifier and your device type. If you accepted before creating an account, that record is linked to your account when you sign in.

Calculators and the Double-Digit Test

If you're not signed in, calculators and the Double-Digit Test run entirely in your browser. What you type stays on your device and isn't sent anywhere.

If you're signed in, the things you choose to keep are saved to your account so they work on any device: your Double-Digit Test (holdings, settings and a monthly history of your score and net worth), calculator results you save, and which guides you've read. They're stored with Supabase and protected so that only you can see them. I can see only totals (for example, how many people have saved a result), never your numbers. In the Double-Digit Test you can choose Keep it on this device only. On your Account page you can download all of it or delete it at any time. Calculator inputs are never sent anywhere unless you tap Save result. The trip expense splitter always stays on your device.

Monthly email

If you switch on the monthly check-in email, I use your name and email address to send one short reminder a month, plus news of new guides. It's off unless you turn it on, and you can turn it off anytime on your Account page. Emails are sent through an email delivery provider (Resend).

Waitlist

If you join the course waitlist, I collect your name, email and any question you share, to tell you about the course and related content. Form submissions are processed by my hosting provider (Netlify).

Service providers

Supabase (account login, saved data, analytics and storage), Resend (monthly emails, only if you opt in), Netlify (hosting and forms), Google (sign-in, if you choose it, and fonts), and public CDNs (jsDelivr and cdnjs, for code libraries). These services may receive your IP address as part of normal web requests.

Your rights

You can update your name, interests and email preference, download your saved data, or delete it, on your Account page at any time. To access, correct or delete your data, or withdraw consent, email . I'll act on requests within 7 days. I don't sell your data or share it for advertising.
